Pop Academy

Pop Academy was founded in 2012 in Ostrava.It is a music school focused on education in the field of popular music.Teaches subjects like popular singing, musical, acting, presenting and rhetorics. Provides high quality education for children and adults without age or other limitations. Regularly organises cultural events and it presented several musical performances like The Wizard of Oz, NocnaKarlštejně (A Night at Karlštejn Castle) and Mamma Mia. It’s the organiser of the International Young Talent Festival, cooperates with a foundation for Holocaust victims and at the same time it works on charity events and projects. One of them was a concert “I am Peter and I’m a warrior”, from which all the proceeds went to cover costs of treatment for a ten-year-old Peter Ivaničko.
