Do you still remember what it was like to live before 1989? Return with us to a time when our library didn’t reside on Prokeš square but on the Revolution square. The period when we did not get new clothes in Karolina but in Tuzex. Into an age when English was not everywhere but instead all of us could read Russian alphabet. Let’s do a little refresher in our fun game and remind yourselves how it was like before the sound of the keys and learn a lot about that period. And those that did not live in 80smay try throwing “Céčka” (special plastic buckles from the 1980s) and see how much better than modern computer games that might feel…

19.00, 21.00 Guided tours of the exhibition.

Guided tours of underground storage of journals and books. Meeting point is near the cloakroom, tour takes about 30 minutes.

During the whole event it will be possible to register in the library and to borrow, and return books. We will also search for and lend the books from the repository at Prokeš’s Square (below the town hall’s right wing).
